Beautiful
Much of Aqua's original design was intended to complement the translucent two-tone look of Apple's contemporaneous hardware, primarily the original bondi blue iMac. Jaguar brought with it flatter interface elements, such as new buttons and drop-down menus, as well as reducing the transparency to tone down the pinstripes in windows and menus. These changes would continue from this point forward with Panther, Tiger and Leopard. The original Aqua is pretty much dead, but there are still remnants of it in Mac OS X. With the release of MobileMe came a set of beautiful controls, begging to be integrated into OS X and to replace what once was described as "lickable". The result is KISS me.
